    Elastic impedance stochastic inversion for P-wave modulus based on FFT-MA simulation and VFQA algorithm

    • Elastic impedance inversion based on seismic gather of partial angle stack can reflect the formation lithology and fluid characteristics and has strong anti-noise ability.This paper proposes an elastic impedance stochastic inversion method to estimate P-wave modulus, through a combination of FFT-MA simulation and an improved very fast quantum annealing algorithm (VFQA).We first obtain a priori information by FFT-MA simulation, a likelihood function by seismic records and forward model.Then, we use the VFQA to optimize the objective function so that the inversion results can be obtained.Testing on both synthetic data and field data shows that this method can invert the P-wave modulus parameters effectively with high resolution and computational efficiency.
