Integrated prediction of fractured reservoirs at Feixianguan formation in Maoba structure

Abstract
The fractured carbonate reservoir in Northeast Sichuan Basin possesses great exploration potential gas resources.However,the strong heterogeneity of fractured reservoir increased the difficulty of gas exploration and development.Therefore,a comprehensive reservoir prediction method,which is based on numerical simulation of structure stress field,pre-stack seismic AVA,FVA,AVO and FVO analysis,pre-stack elastic wave impedance inversion,and so on,has been applied to the prediction of fractured reservoir and gas-bearing zone at the third segment of Feixianguan formation in Maoba structure.The prediction result is coincided with the drilling results.On the basis of assessment of the prediction result,the favorable exploration areas were pointed out.
