Seismic data processing with relatively preserving reservoir reflection information and its geophysical & geological monitoring

    • Based on the theory of relative spatial resolution in seismic exploration with geological concept,by adopting proper seismic acquisition, processing and interpretation techniques, spatial distribution of geologic body with thickness less than 1/4 wavelength can be detected.Among the techniques, the resolution enhancement processing with relatively preserving the reflection information of the reservoir under the condition of attenuating the near-surface effects is one of the important bases for relative spatial resolution exploration theory. While a scientific and efficient QC flow is a guarantee of success. Therefore, from the aspects of seismic data processing,QC and geological evaluation, the main concept and techniques of the processing with relatively preserving reservoir reflection information were introduced, which emphasized on the geophysical and geological monitoring.A case study on 3D seismic data in shallow sea area displays the good effect of resolution-enhancement processing and QC.
