Abstract:
HTI anisotropy effect on seismic data in the fractured formations shows that the amplitude, velocity, waveform and phase of seismic wave vary along with azimuth of survey line.Eliminating azimuthal anisotropic effect for improving imaging quality is one of the aspects worthy for consideration in wide-azimuth seismic data processing. The basis theory about P-wave azimuthal anisotropy isbriefly introduced and the azimuthal anisotropy phenomenon of P-wave velocity for the affect of HTI media is analyzed.A P-wave azimuthal anisotropy correction technique is developed and the corresponding productivity processing workflow is formed. The workflow is applied to a full-azimuth seismic data processing and improves the imaging quality.
