Abstract: The seismic acquisition technology of bin stack is one kind of acquisition method that was developed for providing flexibility in data processing, and is also one kind of observation method that suits target-oriented data acquisition and processing. It can be used effectively in the exploration for deep targets and in complex area. The prospects of this method are shown by a discussion on the principles of bin stack and its technology characteristics, and the results yielded by this method in 4 areas.
