Abstract: An integrated technique for resolution enhancement of seismic data is presented in this paper. The technique consists of two steps. First, Burg maximum entropy prediction is used to spread the spectra of the data and to suppress side lobes. Then, high-resolution signals are reconstructed via temporal-frequency analysis. Tests on real data show that the technique is effective in improving the resolution of the data.
