Abstract: This paper studies the genesis of the Yi-shu graben structure in line with the mechanism of structures in the depth of the earth as well as the extension theory of structures,in which the data of magnetic/gravity anomalies and the statistics of the natural seismic wave P_n's travel times in response to the anisotropic features in the upper mantle are exploited.
