Abstract: Seismic wavelet plays an important role in seismic forward modeling and inversion.At present,wavelet extraction is mainly based on the assumption that wavelet is min-phase.However,actual seismic wavelet often has mixed-phase.In order to extract the seismic wavelet with actual phase,starting from the statistical characteristic of seismic signals,by using the bispectrum of high-order statistics,the actual phase of seismic wavelet was extracted from reflection record to reconstruct seismic wavelet.By modeling testing and actual data processing,the method is proved to be effective and practical.
